My 88 year old nearly blind mother attended Ross Hall for an assessment with consultant Gerard McGowan, my mother was extremely nervous and sceptical with the cataract procedure as she was aware that the cataract was dense and complex. Gerard Mc Gowan was patient explaining everything in simple terms which made my mother feel relaxed and gave her the confidence to proceed with the surgery. This decision was the best my mother has ever made, Gerard McGowan is a genius and highly recommend anyone thinking of undergoing cataract treatment.
Procedure 9.30am Friday 23 December 2022 and by 6pm Friday night our mother was telling us the time on the clock.
Our only regret is our mother did not attend Ross Hall and Gerard McGowan's clinic sooner.
