Following an MRI for reduced hearing in my left ear, I saw Mr Kelly again at the Spire, Leeds, for the results. I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma. I had never heard of this condition, but Mr Kelly explained everything in straight forward terms, with patience, understanding and empathy. He outlined clearly the treatment options, advising what he thought was the best initial course of action. He also referred my case to the local MDT for feedback. Mr Kelly understood that I may have additional questions, once I had absorbed all the information and provided his email address. I emailed a couple of days later and received a quick, clear and comprehensive reply.
Thank you Mr Kelly for your care in what has been a scary time for me.
