From my initial meeting with George I had the clear impression of a man who not only knew his business (and thereby, spinally, mine) but could also communicate that with a clarity and confidence that reassured me that I would be in safe hands. Subsequently I went on to an MRI scan and afterwards a spinal neurological process due to Spondylolisthesis. Prior to the procedure (3 hrs; general anesthetic) I was experiencing severe (and increasingly so) pain in my right leg. Now, four weeks on and post-procedurally, I have just completed a 14,500 Fitbit steps day - with no pain at all. The following day I managed only 13,500 steps..!! I do have some tingling in my calf still, but am fully aware that this is due to pre- and procedural nerve bruising that should, over time, improve. It is doing, albeit slowly, so I am confident it will continue so to do with the physiotherapeutic oversight I am also receiving.
