I visited Mr Batra with a condition in my right knee that, at it's worse, prevented me from even lifting my foot off the floor, or even getting into and out of bed without someone having to lift my leg off the floor.
Within two consultations I was diagnosed with chronic tendonitis and a treatment plan was suggested that included a minor op.
At every stage Mr Batra to took time to explain exactly what would happen (including that the op would be very painful) in a way that felt like he absolutely placed me at the centre of the process.
The op was undertaken around 6 months ago and since then I have had absolutely no re-occurrence of the condition, I am back swimming and spinning to keep fit, and am slowly building up to a return to 5 a side. (I am now 55).
