I was first referred 4 years ago to this amazing man. Severe arthritis in my ankle was making it extremely painful to walk at all and I could no longer stand for any length of time.
Mr Devarajan recommended an ankle fusion which would reduce the movement of my foot but would take away the constant pain I was suffering.
I had the operation over 3 years ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I made. I had no pain at all after the operation and 3 years later I’m able to walk 10kms without a struggle.
Mr Devarajan is an extremely reassuring consultant and an absolute gentleman.
If offered this operation do not hesitate to go ahead. It’s not easy for the 3 months afterwards with no load bearing at all but the long term results are more than worth it.
