I had not met Mr Amen prior to the day of my thyroidectomy surgery but, pre-surgery, I was immediately struck by his calm, confident and reassuring demeanour. He explained the procedure comprehensively, was not rushed and answered all my questions. Any surgery is a daunting prospect and the surgeon/patient bond as trust is key to eliminating any anxieties one might be feeling. Mr Amen was there for me for post operation checks and conversation too and, all thanks to him, I am most grateful for how good I am feeling. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
