I had a breast reduction 5 weeks ago and am absolutely thrilled with the result. I loved the fact that it could be done in Dr Duminy's private theatre at Rose cottage, under conscious sedation. No cold hospital and no downtime. Everything ran like clockwork and they even arranged a wonderful driver for me. I arrived at 8h30 and was back home before midday!
Dr Duminy made me feel completely at ease and the practice staff are just wonderful. They even checked in on me over the weekend.
This was my 2nd reduction and it was a breeze compared to the first one some 20+ years ago (different doctor) when I needed to be hospitalised for a week. Pain, discomfort and downtime was minimal and the sisters checked on me daily to ensure that I was coping post-op. My scars are healing beautifully and I honestly couldn't be happier.
