I attended consultation with Dr Sedra with sever sciatica. My pain was 10/10 and my posture and movement all restricted. Very reluctantly I followed Mr Sedra's advice to have a painkiller injection to my spinal area where the sciatica had relapsed. I was very nervous because a cortisone injection 4 yrs earlier has caused me a lot of pain, and was unsuccessful. However I had the injection carried out by Mr Sedra and the pain over a few days slowly decreased. I was therefore able to stop taking the many oral heavy-duty painkillers. A few months on and I have been following Mr Sedra's advise and undergoing physio exercises and trying to maintain a consistent exercise programme. Mr Sedra has also helped me to have the right mental attitude towards this delibitating condition. He has explained things well so I understand as much as I can what caused this on-set of this attack. I would therefore recommend Mr Sedra to anyone with a back problem.
