I had severe arthritis in my talonavicular joint.
Mr Edward Dawe was very helpful in discussing the process of operating on my foot (bone fusion). He was very patient on a number of occasions whilst talking through my indecision. He is always very easy to communicate with.
Nearly eight months after the operation I can walk well and my foot continues to become more flexible so that even slightly uneven ground is becoming less of a problem. Mr Dawe was careful to explain to me that it will take 18 months for my foot to reach its optimum recovery state. I am definitely working towards that.
