I was referred by the NHS for knee replacement surgery. From my first contact, Mr Kosuge, was interested in what I had to say, extremely informative and very reassuring, despite clearly outlining all the risks. He advised me on how to prepare for surgery for maximum recovery and what I would need to do after.
The surgery went well and I was walking comfortably the first evening. I only needed to stay for 2 nights. I followed the physio instructions fully and now a year on am fully fit, hillwalking and cycling and I managed some skiing.
Throughout my recovery, Mr Kosuge has sent me emails to monitor my recovery. I would not want to go to anyone else should my other knee need surgery.
