In 2015 I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer whilst in the care of Mr Ratliff and his team which at the time terrorised me Mr Ratliff was extremely reassuring and empathetic he is an extremely skilled surgeon this has been conveyed to me on numerous occasions whilst undergoing scans and tests he is very well respected by his colleagues and peers therefore there was no hesitation on my part that he should perform my surgery I was very well looked after both pre and post operation . My operation has proved to be successful and I am now free of cancer and I am still in his care which remains very reassuring to me I cannot thank him enough I do feel without exaggeration that I have a life ahead of me thanks to him . I cannot speak more highly of this man save to say that one day when he retires it will be an extreme loss to the medical profession !!
