On my Brain Tumour diagnosis i was told i would need two surgeons and one of them would be Mr David Johnson. At my first meeting with Mr Johnson and subsequent ones both in JR hospital and his private clinic in Swindon he always made me feel he knew how i felt, explained things in simple terms and just enough detail not to scare you!!! He never made me feel silly worrying about the little things and went out of his way to make sure those little things didn't turn into big things - which i believe helped my confidence and recovery post op. I'm not sure what it is he said or did but i just had a feeling " i could trust this guy with my life". I tell people I had "The A team" and i cannot praise Mr Johnson and the team involved in my care enough...
