Deciding to go through with an abdominoplasty is a massive decision. Finding a trustworthy and skilled surgeon to carry out the procedure is critical. After some research, I chose Dr David Johnson and met him for a consultation at The Manor Hospital. His service, and the prompt, efficient service of his team, assured me I was in very safe experienced hands. I went ahead with the operation. Dr Johnson is quite an amazing surgeon, a genius. I have the result I could only have dreamt of, and he was an absolute delight to deal with. There is no one aspect of the process, from start to finish, that I could have improved. Absolutely excellent customer service, and a superb result from the operation. If you are looking at an abdominoplasty, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr David Johnson and his team!

I was actually excited to have my surgery after speaking with Mr. Johnson. He answered all of my questions and explained in the procedure in detail. My main question being, why some patients chose GA over local anaesthetic. I opted for local. Mr .Johnson chatted to me during the surgery, which made me feel at ease. He explained everything he was doing and what sensations I would feel and when. He kept me informed the whole time. I am extremely happy with the outcome and I would highly recommend Mr. Johnson if you are considering surgery and looking for a surgeon that is as skilled and experienced. Make the appointment and have a consultation, it might be the best thing you do that year.

I’d had my breast implants in for 15 years and had noticed one of them had a hardened edge which I could feel. I made the decision to have them removed, and so researched for weeks to find the right surgeon. I came across Dr David Johnsons website, and whilst it didn’t mention the actual procedure, I liked what I read about him. Dr Johnson is an award winning experienced plastic surgeon who has performed many cosmetic surgeries. He also has a kind face which as a woman looking at having quite a personal surgery, I found this reassuring. When I arrived at the hospital, Dr Johnson came to the waiting area to collect me which was helpful as I was so nervous. Obviously I had to have an examination which I wasn’t looking forward to however a female chaperone was called in. Afterwards we discussed the procedure which is when I learnt my implants had possibly encapsulated. By the time I left, I knew what exactly what was going to happen and I also knew I wanted it done. Following the pre-assessment, I booked the operation. On the day, I was so nervous and worried. I met the team in theatre who really put me at ease. They were friendly and had such relaxed manners, I actually enjoyed being there. It was all over so quick and I was amazed at the neatness of the incision. After I had come round, Dr Johnson came and told me my implants had actually ruptured. I went home a couple of hours later. I was expecting pain and I didn’t have any. A bit of discomfort and didn’t actually need the painkillers. Recovery was so quick and I was up and about the following day. I felt amazing and was so glad it had been done. I’ve just been signed off and I feel so glad I had this done by Dr Johnson and his team, not forgetting Marcia his secretary who I constantly texted and emailed zillions of questions. Marcia , thank you for always replying to me and putting my mind at rest. The whole experience was made easier because of Dr Johnson and his team who I found to be compassionate, professional and caring people and I would not hesitate to recommend this surgeon and his team. Thank you so much all of you. I feel I have my life back again.

I went to dr Johnson for a full tummy tuck , so glad I went with him over the others I researched. After suffering with diastasis recti and loose after having my children, I experienced daily pain and didn’t like the loose skin. Since the operation I’ve had no more pain! So not only is the physical appearance incredible I’m physically stronger aswell! I was quite nervous about it all but doctor Johnson put me at ease and felt comfortable in his hands. Couldn’t be happier with the results.
