I received excellent care from Mr Hartwright who has performed 2 x total hip replacements for me over a 2 year period. I was nervous about the procedure but he instilled great confidence and I am totally delighted in the results. After years of daily pain I do not even think about my hips at all now.
My advice to anyone thinking about having this procedure is to stick with the daily exercises even though they can be painful in the very early days, taking pain killers ahead of the exercise will also help. Also, keep moving, do not sit in a chair for long periods, get up and walk around house every 30 mins.
