I have recently had a hip replacement by Dan Williams. Prior to the operation he clearly described my options and gave me the pros and cons of each. The surgery went very well and I was in and out in a couple of days. On the follow-up meetings he clearly laid out what I can and more importantly what I should not do during the initial healing stage. He also explained how long the healing process takes and the importance of allowing everything to heal properly. The recovery is frustrating but knowing the long-term benefits of doing it correctly made the process so much easier to tolerate. I now look forward with confidence that the operation which has put an end to the pain will also last for many years into the future. I am now looking forward to getting out cycling again.
