Mr Simillis diagnosed my Caecal cancer in 2021 and I was due for surgery on June 16th '21 He met me and my wife and expIained in understandable terms the need for surgery. I had all the prep medication for the operation waiting to take. Unfortunately on May 27th '21 I was consumed by unbearable stomach pains and an Ambulance had to take me to Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge. My Wife waived me goodbye on our 49th Wedding Anniversary !! Mr Simillis told me of the problems of a major operation without having taken all the prep medication and that I would have it after the operation. He gave me an emergency CT scan and made the great decision to operate that day, a 5hr operation to remove the tumour and my swollen appendix at the same time, brilliant !! He has managed to re-connect my tubes and I can function normally with stomach and bowel. I am so grateful to this wonderful Surgeon and man and all his team of doctors and nurses. I am not on Chemo but am monitored wit CT scans and hoping all stays clear. Thank you all so much for helping me. Kind Regards, Leslie Smith.
