Our 2 year old son Arlo was diagnosed with an ATRT malignant brain tumour. Mr Conor Malluci and his team managed to extract 100 percent of the tumour and have given Arlo the best chance at survival and we are eternally grateful. A few days after his surgery I expressed that I felt Arlo wasn’t himself and seemed to be deteriorating so Beth sent him for a scan. It turned out he needed a shunt fitting to drain his brain fluid as a result of the swelling from the surgery. Within the same night conor malluci came from home to fit the shunt. Outstanding!
Arlos lumber puncture result recently came back as negative for cancer cells and he has now started chemotherapy to fight the disease. Thank you for taking care of our baby with such compassion and skill. You will always have a place in our hearts.
