As a patient, I was happy with the care given by the Doctor. He was thorough and I left my appointment knowing I was being followed up appropriately.
However there was a "trainee someone" (I didn't hear who she was) in the room and I would have liked the option for her not to be present. Being inspected "down below" with my Doctor present was fine... but with the "trainee someone" also having a good view and an HCA, I felt somewhat 'exposed'.
I am also a member of staff so I do realise the need for a chaperone during examinations but did say to the lovely HCA (just prior to the examination) I would have been happy with just the Doctor. I even said "I didnt realise there would be an audience!".
