I am most grateful to Mr. Bailey for operating on my painful, arthritic shoulder at the Nuffield hospital (on NHS). His cheerful and reassuring manner and courtesy helped a great deal to build trust and the confidence in his ability to restoring my shoulder to its former mobility. The operation was explained in terms I could understand, with X-Rays shown to me before and after. After only eight weeks following the operation, my shoulder is much more mobile than before, the scar is barely visible and, although the pain has not yet fully gone, I feel confident that it will do so in due course (as he assures me). I cannot think of any improvement in the excellent care given, except for the luxury of a little more time to talk.
