Many years of football and service with H M Forces had resulted in my knees being well worn and painful. I had no idea as to how to find an Orthopaedic Surgeon to make a repair and it was luck and good fortune that took me to the door of Mr Bailey. He was everything we could wish for in a surgeon. He was willing to give fully of his time to explain the option of total knee replacements and I felt well prepared when the time came for surgery. My second knee was replaced on 17 December 2019 and by 31 January 2020 I am already walking without sticks or any other aid
