I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I received under the care of Chris Anderson at St George's Hospital. Seven years ago I was lucky enough to have a kidney transplant which had been functioning well until last summer when a sizeable tumour was discovered. Until I saw Mr Anderson the only option given the size and position of the tumor was removal of the kidney and dialysis. He took a great deal of time and effort to research, explain and carry out a complex pioneering partial nephrectomy using a 3D model. The outcome was a swift recovery with the kidney still functioning well and a quality of life I did not think possible to retain. My family and I will be eternally grateful to him for his skill and care.
