Mr Christian Macutkiewicz is an incredibly kind, caring and patient doctor. When I first went in for my initial consultation I was very nervous about the amount of pain I was having and at the time I believed my gallbladder pain may have led to pancreatic cancer (previously told by a different doctor this could happen), Christian immediately put my mind at ease by explaining this away and describing how my gallbladder functions, what it means for the stones and what needs to be done. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to medical procedures due to medical trauma but Christian truly helped me to relax and be calm about my surgery. Not only did he put my mind at ease and help me through the initial consultation but he also looked after my fiance as well and helped him to understand what would happen. All throughout the first consultation, the surgery and the aftercare appointment Christian was exceptionally attentive and responded to any of my messages when I was concerned something may have been wrong. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon, especially if you are nervous in any way as he is friendly, approachable and keen to offer help and advice.
