I was referred to Mr Gupte as a result of experiencing a sudden, traumatic and injury in the workplace. A freak accident saw extensive damage to my left knee / leg with my list of injuries including; 1. Multiple bone fractures leading to loss of my LCL 2. Complete ACL tear 3. Partial PCL tear 4. Grade 1/2 MCL tear 5. Meniscus Ramp Tear 6. Dense Deep Peroneal Nerve injury with superficial involvement. As I'm sure you can imagine this event was hugely impactful both physically and emotionally and I can only heap praise on My Gupte for the care and attention he showed to both elements. From the moment that I step into his office I felt reassured that I was now in the care of someone who would work to deliver the best outcome possible, explaining things in an open, honest but compassionate way. My case came with the added complexity of needing to have Mr Gupte work alongside an additional surgeon to help with the Nerve damage suffered, Mr Gupte ensured that he was flexible and supportive of working alongside a colleague to achieve the best outcome. I am pleased to say that despite the level of injury I initially sustained I am now 4 months post operation and my knee is in excellent shape. Considering how devastating the initial prognosis felt , it genuinely feels wonderful to have regained such a strong degree of knee function in a relatively short space of time post surgery. I will be eternally grateful to Mr Gupte for his expertise, involvement and support through this whole process. As someone that sought multiple opinions before picking the surgeon I felt would deliver the best outcome, I could not be happier that I chose to pursue my rehabilitation with Mr Gupte.
