I have not long since had my second surgical procedure under Mr Ekwobi and his team. Once again, I'm so incredibly pleased with the results of the surgery. I have had some scar tissue removed from my reconstructed breast, some radiotherapy damaged skin removed and a slight lift. Post-op results are amazing already and its only been 5 weeks since the surgery. I have been kept well informed, well looked after and have been able to make fully informed decisions about my treatment. The two surgeons who worked with Mr Ekwobi during this second procedure were very nice, courteous and answered all my questions. As usual Mr Ekwobi visited me on the ward after surgery to give me an update and check up on me. During this post-op follow up appointment, many treatment options have been discussed with me and i have been allowed to take some time to think about what i want/would like as the next step in my treatment. I am always made to feel included about decisions in my care/treatment - absolutely stellar patient care received and a shining example of patient focused, patient centered care. A true credit to the NHS. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Ekwobi and his team. I am slowly gaining my confidence back and starting to feel human and a woman again. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am.
