On 23 January 2024 my second toe/left foot was amputated at Clifton Park Hospital York - the operation sponsored by our NHS
The Consultant/Surgeon was Mr Charlie Jowett
..What a fantastic experience. Not only did I not feel pain as I had expected afterwards but the actual operation made me realise what a very skillful surgeon this person is!!
Also, he is very personable man, who clearly listens carefully to patients - but also has unique surgery skills. He is a credit to our surgeons
I am indebted to this key health professional, and his core operating team - and superb treatment all round from all staff at Clifton Park - no doubt inspired by Mr Jowett
