I was diagnosed with endometrial early stage cancer following a referral by my GP to my consultant Mr Ramsay. I found my treatment plan to be thorough and timely and I was copied in on all notes from Mr Ramsay to my GP. I was given counselling by Mr Ramsey's nurse Denise Quinton following my diagnosis to prepare me for my operation and the fact that I was now a cancer patient. The ward sisters and nurses helped me through my 48 hr stay at Peterborough Hospital. I would like to thank Mr Ramsay and all his team for their dedication and care. Long live the NHS!
