When I first met Mr. Ramsay in clinic, he immediately put me at ease. He greeted me with his hand outstretched and a big smile on his face. He sat me down and carefully explained what my tests had revealed, the options open to me and what he recommended. He listened to me when I said I wanted to go on holiday before my operation (it had been planned and booked for 6 months beforehand). He implemented some treatment to work effectively on my problem which would see me through the holiday. I left the clinic feeling that I was in good hands of a man whom I trusted with my health completely. On the day of my planned operation, he was there again, along with his amazing team of wonderful people, he was smiling again and very upbeat and confident that all would go well. He explained again what they were hoping to do and said he would see me later when it was all over. I was then put into the hands of his team. Each and every one of them so caring and kind and filling me with complete confidence. After returning to the ward, when the operation was all over, Mr Ramsay came to see me, he was smiling again and said everything had gone as planned and I was doing well. He promised to come back and see me in the afternoon, which he did, and he also visited me again twice the next day to see how I was doing. This man never made me feel worried or doubtful at any stage, he was quite the opposite. He has a wonderful demeanour, which shines through, shows great care and professionalism and makes you feel safe in his hands. I would recommend him highly to anyone.
