After being rushed by ambulance to A and E, I was admitted and diagnosed with a infected Gaul bladder, which had caused me to have Sepsis and E coli. Mr. Madhok treated me for 12 days and thankfully pulled me through these's very serious infections. Thank you Mr. Madhok although he could not remove the Gaul bladder at this time, as I was still very run down and not strong enough for the operation. so I was returned home to recuperate. Two months later whilst awaiting an appointment, I was again rushed in with my infected Gaul bladder. This time Mr. Madhok operated on me to remove my Gaul bladder, and because I was quite ill he told me after the operation, just how difficult the operation was due to the state of my infections, and the fact that my Gaul bladder had adhered to my bowels, he also had to sow up a fissure which opened in my bowel. Due to the complexity of the surgery (The operation took as long as it would normally take to do three Gaul bladder operations). He still however managed to do this using key hole surgery, and he managed not have to open me up with with a large incision, I don't know how but I'm very glad he was skilful enough to be able to carry out this amazing feat. I did contract E coli again due to all of the puss and other debris in my Gaul bladder, but however due to Mr. Madhok supervising my treatment I was once again nursed back to health. THANK YOU Mr. Madhok you helped a 70 year old man survive twice, what could have been very nasty indeed. I'm very glad you were my Consultant and Surgeon
