In November 2016 I had my gallbladder removed at the Alexandra Hospital under the care of Mr Alkhaffaf. From the initial consultation to the followup appointment I received excellent care throughout. He explained the condition and subsequent operation in detail, answering all my questions. The preoperative tests and scans were arranged promptly and the results discussed thoroughly. The operation itself went smoothly with a good team of carers from start to finish, each in their own way helping to allay any anxieties and apprehensions. The hospital was a clean and pleasant environment with friendly staff and excellent facilities. At followup 5 weeks later, his handiwork was examined and all questions were again answered satisfactorily. In all, the time frame from diagnosis to resolution was very reassuring, as was Mr Alkhaffaf. He has a charming manner, very patient and I thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing to undergo surgery.
