I had a bilateral lumbar microdiscectomy for a large disc protrusion L4/5, having experienced severe sciatica for some time prior to first appointment with Mr Chitnavis. I found him to have excellent interpersonal skills: he listened, cared, and took the time to explain the procedure and its risks fully so I could make an informed decision. In terms of the execution of the procedure, and pre- and post-operative contact, all excellent and I have no suggestions for improvement - all the way through I felt that I was in safe hands, and communication was great. Both Mr Chitnavis and his secretary/secretarial team are extremely organised, efficient and responsive, and consummate professionals at all times. If I ever need this or a similar procedure again - let's hope I don't! - Mr Chitnavis would be top of my list.
