Mr Chitnavis was my neurosurgeon for a S1L5 micro discectomy.
He was very patient in explaining my diagnosis and listening to my descriptions of the various sciatic symptoms I experienced. It was a very distressing time and I was unable to walk without a limp due to a loss of the motor function of the compressed nerve.
He was very helpful and took care to explain the details of my various options.
I am now just over 7 months post op and I am back on the tennis court and rock climbing, something I couldn't imagine doing when I was diagnosed!
