I was referred to Mr Hickey after suffering pain and discomfort in my right foot for a few years, I honestly didn’t think anything could be done so put up with it. Mr Hickey agreed to do an osteotomy and approximately 3 weeks after the consultation I was admitted as a day patient and the procedure was done, before the procedure Mr Hickey explained what he was going to do, how long the procedure would take and what the recovery time would be. I had an x Ray today and Mr Hickey confirmed that the procedure had been successful, I already knew that but it was good to have it confirmed by the surgeon. This procedure has changed my life for the better, for the first time I can wear pretty sandals and show my feet off
