I was referred by my doctor to a different consultant who I had seen previously. Due to sudden sickness my appointment was transferred to Mr Hickey. Mr Hickey listened to my symptoms, examined my foot, took x-rays and discussed all options thoroughly. I have haglund syndrome and this was to be my fourth operation. Mr Hickey discussed surgery and recovery in depth to ensure it was the right choice for me. I was also offered an alternative but believe surgery was the the right long term option. I’m pleased to say the surgery was successful and my recovery is going well ..... it’s a slow process but we knew that. I now have feeling in parts of my foot/ankle that I didn’t after my last surgery, amazing. Mr Hickey and his team are friendly, professional and compassionate. Thank you
