Mr Barrie White - First of all I thank him and the rest of the team at QMC for the care, diagnosis, surgery and after care I received in July 2012.
I was admiited to QMC on June 26th 2012 due to the eagle eye of Doctor Hamilton - my GP at Keyworth Health Centre.
I was admitted to the neurosurgery ward D12 QMC two days after being diagnosed as having serious tumour pressing on my spinal cord - known as a intradural menigioma.
I had my op at 08.30 on July 4th - very quickly after the MRI scan result. Woke up at noon-ish with it all done.
The aftercare at QMC was tremendously supportive and I left hospital on 10th July to recover further.
My 3 month check up with Mr White on Oct 1st was excellent and he answered all my questions fully.
How fortunate I was to have such a fantastic surgeon and medical team.
