I feel very lucky to have been referred to Mr Chaudhary. He's been brilliant. Excellent communicator - he explained everything really well and made sure I not only understood but was involved in decision making. And he is clearly a brilliant surgeon; it is too soon to know the long term results of my spinal surgery, but the first signs are very promising.
I want to put in a strong plea for the type of surgery I have had (keyhole lumber decompression) to be more available. I needed emergency surgery, which was going to have to be open as keyhole was not available at the weekend. Mr Chaudhary managed to organise for me to have keyhole surgery on a Sunday, for which I am so grateful. This should be available for more people, not just in special cases.
I cannot thank Mr Chaudhary enough!
