I had open spinal surgery 10 years ago in my 30s. In my early 40s I had a year of ongoing sciatica and had exhausted all the other options - physio, injection and meds.
Unfortunately I got to the point of being unable to walk or even stand and I knew I was faced with the possibility of surgery again. I was scared I’d have to have a fusion and to be honest I was pretty nervous of spinal surgeons from past experience.
Mr Chaudhary was so different! He listened to me and explained everything very clearly. He opted for microdiscectomy. This was an entirely different experience. I was up walking on the day of surgery with really minimal pain. I wish I could have had it 10 years ago! I was off all meds in less than a week.
The whole care experience - his supportive secretary (Mandy), the consultations and his aesthetic team. I felt really valued, listened to and what a success!
I have slight niggles of sciatica but it’s entirely transformed my life. I have been so limited for so long! I can’t thank Mr Chaudhary and his team enough!
