I can only praise the care I received from Mr Acharya and all his team at Spire Cheshire Hospital. Like many people I was apprehensive about undergoing total hip replacement surgery, but from the first consultation I found Mr Acharya’s calm, confident and professional manner very reassuring. Nothing was rushed, Mr Acharya listened carefully to everything I had to say, and I felt that I was able to discuss the surgery at a pace and in sufficient detail that left me looking forward to the big day. I am now 1 year post my fantastic hip replacement surgery, and have just had my 12 month follow-up appointment with Mr Acharya. I was pleased to tell him that (from not being able to walk more than 100 yards or so before surgery, even with a stick) I am now able to walk for several miles, without a stick and pain free. He looked as pleased for me as I felt. What a lovely man. Thank you Mr Acharya.
