I received fantastic care from Mr Subramanian from the moment I was referred to him. He listened carefully when we discussed my symptoms at the first assessment appointment and fully explained all of the treatment options available to me including the risks associated with each. I chose to have surgery (anterior cervical discectomy and disc replacement ) which was carried out earlier this week. Spine surgery is a major procedure and I felt quite nervous when I arrived at the hospital but I was soon put at ease by the whole surgical and nursing team. The operation went well, I felt quite poorly during the night due to the anaesthetic, but I was amazed at how quickly I was up and about the following morning preparing for discharge. Mr Subramanian was very easy to talk to and I was not afraid to ask questions. Prior to my operation he checked I fully understood the procedure and answered my questions. He also visited me on the day following the operation, prior to my discharge, and took the time to show me my X-rays from before, during and after the surgery and explain exactly what he had done. I am in the early stages of recovery and am very happy with the care and treatment I have received. Thank you.
