Had to go in to hospital with a bleed in early labour when had planned a Home birth. 1st doctor I saw was very pushy for intervention threatening still birth if I didn’t comply. Mr Ashok his senior came in and spoke to me like I was a human agreed a course of action where I felt less out of control but baby was monitored enough. Midwife discovered at 8cm dilated that my baby was breech, Mr Ashok came again explained everything allowed vaginal delivery, helped deliver my daughter. After she was born he came back and chatted to me and my husband about everything that went on. Having felt completely powerless with my very hospitalised birth when we’d been preparing for a home water birth his attitude and kindness was just wonderful
