My daughter has Scoliosis and has been under the care of Mr Ranganathan for 4 years. Unfortunately her curve had progressed to over 75 degrees in the Thoracic and over 50 degrees in the Lumbar region. Mr Ranganathan could wait no longer and at the age of 12 was put on the waiting list for surgery. On the 17th of July 2017 she went into theatre and i was not to see her again for 11 hours. During that time Mr Ranganathan and his team worked tirelessly to straighten her spine as much as possible. When she came out of Surgery , Mr Ranganathan met with my husband and I to inform us that it had all gone well and he was very pleased with the outcome of her surgery. Throughout the time i have known Mr Ranganathan he has been very honest , straight talking , earnest and explains things in a way which is understandable to everyone. He has a polite and professional manner and is very reassuring. What more could a parent want from a surgeon ! If you are researching surgeons , I couldn’t recommend Mr Ranganathan enough. You will be in safe hands.
