I had an umbilical hernia repair which wasn’t the surgery I went to theatre for.
The aftercare received was shocking, staff kept mixing me up with another patient, no one knew what surgery I had undergone and my discharge letter stated I had undergone a completely different operation.
Since the surgery in October I have had one follow up (November) and have not heard from anyone since. The hernia repair was botched and I now have an egg shaped purple lump protruding from my stomach. GP has now referred me to a different hospital and different surgeon. Would not recommend Dr Khan to anyone. Absolutely shocking care.
