My first operation on my carpal tunnel release for my left hand was unsuccessful and I was referred to Mr Apurv Sinha at Thornbury hospital Sheffield. When I went to see Mr Sinha I found him to be very polite towards both myself and my wife who accompanied me. He was very professional and told me the best and worst outcomes of the operation, obviously I was concerned about the possibility of the outcome being the worse scenario but as I was told it wouldn't get any better without the operation so I went ahead with it and with complete trust in Mr Apurv Sinha and his team. During the operation which I was awake for and felt no pain whatsoever Mr Sinha talked me through what he was doing, he and his team made me feel very relaxed and confident that I would feel an improvement although how much would take time . Since my operation 5 weeks ago I already have a 50%improvement in the feeling of my hand and fingers . Mr Sinha has given me a follow-up call and once again I have found him to be very polite and helpful and now I will be discharged but have been told to get back if I have any problems with my hand. Many thanks to everyone involved ,I had every faith in you all
