I found Mr.Pittathankal to be a considerate and caring surgeon who I felt I could trust on his recommendation to have an adrenalectomy to check whether a tumour was malignant or not. Fortunately, after same weeks and extensive checks, it was found to be benign. No after effects after nearly 3 months except slight bulging around the laporoscopic entry area points and scar tissue is still tender when turning over in bed. Hopefully it should feel less so in the next couple of months. I understand that open surgery would have led to even more scar tissue and that Mr.P's surgical skill lessened the possible negative consequences.
