Cataract Blunder Mr Casswell put the replacement lens the wrong way round in my right eye. He admitted this was because he failed to check his measurements correctly. This necessitated a further op to reposition the lens the right way round, which was very distressing. I was a private patient and this cost a lot of money which he refused to refund, despite my correspondence with him and the private hospital concerned lasting a year.

Anthony Casswell is an excellent eye surgeon. I have been a patient of his for many years. He has performed surgery on my detatched retinas and I've had two cataract operations with him also. I find him easy to communicate with and feel that he has a calm and reassuring nature. I highly recommend him.
