I am 61 years old and had breast implants a number of years ago. I hadn't had any particular problems with them but I was becoming concerned with the length of time that they had been in. We discussed in detail my options, which were to just have the implants removed, or to have them removed and have a breast lift (mastoplexy). I decided on the breast lift, as I didn't want to be left with loose skin. The procedure was painless with very little discomfort afterwards. Its now 8 weeks after surgery, I'm absolutely thrilled with the result, my scars are healing beautifully.
