In June of this year, I finally had bilateral breast reduction and bra roll excision surgery under the care of Andrew Morritt. Being in my mid-fifties I have been troubled by large breasts for many years and this has had both psychological and physical impact on me and my life choices. Being extremely self-conscious about this it took a lot of courage to attend my initial appointments, but he made me feel comfortable and took my concerns and anxieties seriously, giving me all the information I needed to make an informed choice about having surgery. The surgery went well but decisions regarding surgical techniques had to be made during my operation due to unexpected issues. This led to delayed wound healing due to my previous health issues. I needed frequent outpatient appointments to review my wound healing where staff were attentive, supportive and made me feel at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you especially to Chris (RN) who was amazing and made me feel at ease like an old friend by the time my appointments were no longer needed. Unfortunately she was not on duty at my final appointment so was unable to thank her personally. Mr Morritt reviewed me at most of these appointments and was reassuring that all would be well. I am now 4 months post-surgery. My wounds are healed. My breast reduction has taken me from 38GG to 38B and is amazing. I feel like a different woman - more self-confident and happier in my own skin. My neck and back pain have resolved and am several kilograms lighter thanks to my surgery. I would recommend Mr Morritt to anyone thinking about having this type of surgery done. His skill and friendly personality and attention to detail are second to none.
