We are so pleased we chose Mr Morritt as a Private Consultant for my 83 year old Mum and could not be more satisfied with the surgery he has recently performed on her. She had seen a Dermatologist at our local NHS hospital who said the area on her face was cancerous and required surgery. We did not want to wait so I researched Private Consultants in our area and we could not be happier with the result. Mum had a Basel Cell Carcinoma (BCC) on her cheek very close to her right eye an area of about 2cm. He listened attentively, offered various solutions and was very reassuring and calming in the initial appointment with us. Due to the size of it and the closeness to her eye he advised that the best way to proceed was to operate, taking as much of the cancer out as possible and putting a skin graft over the area which would help aesthetically. He then made our day by saying he could perform the operation within the week which to us meant so much, Mum had become very anxious once she knew it was cancer and being able to have the surgery so soon was such a relief. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery, everything is going well, Mr Morritt is amazing, he dealt with a few questions we had over the past few weeks very swiftly and was able to let Mum know the good news that the surgery had been a success. We have just had the follow-up appointment with him and he has confirmed the cancer has been removed and she does not require any follow up surgery. I would recommend Mr Morritt every time, his manner is exceptional, he is a very empathic, caring person whose smile lights up a room, worth every penny (Mum's words) thank you so much Mr Morritt.
