Mr Phillips certainly listens and wants to help given he is exclusively private practice now and depends on private income. Surgery sometimes goes wrong and can leave you with more disability than before (it certainly did for me),however, I would have expected Mr Phillips to admit this and to put it right rather than blaming it on other problems.
Thankfully I saw a different hand surgeon a few months later who was able to start putting things right.
