I have been very fortunate in being able to access Mr Andrew Carrothers for a second knee replacement operation using the Mako robotic arm. Today, six weeks on, I saw him for a follow up consultation. This knee was possibly more difficult as the kneecap had broken in half and part was removed in 2018. Mr Carrothers had carefully explained that it might be difficult to give me full mobility but he would do his very best, as he always does, and so it has proved.
I seem to have recovered well and am in a much better place with my two new Stryker knees.
I’m looking forward to hearing from his excellent secretary, Carol, for my annual check.
