I was recommended to see Mr Carrothers by a friend who had a hip replacement six months earlier.
I was able to make an initial consultation within a few weeks and I was impressed at how at ease he made me feel. It was of course necessary to have an x ray to diagnose the problem and Mr Carrothers discussed the findings and his suggestions to proceed with a full right hip replacement.
The procedure was fully explained and I was given a leaflet regarding the advantages of using the Mako robotic computerized machine . I was surprised at how quickly the recovery period was compared with my knee operation some five years ago.
